4.) C. Nixon. It began operation in December of 1970. Interestingly, less than 4 years later, on the day he resigned, Nixon tried to kill the agency by vetoing its annual appropriations bill.

6.) D. All of the above. Latex or water-based paint should always be used instead of oil-based paints unless there is an overriding reason to use the latter.
