Fertility Goddess Smoothie photo by Joanna StevenA true fertility potion, this smoothie features maca and Brazil nuts, both known for increasing fecundity in men and women. An added attraction are the strawberries, a treat for the tongue and rich in PEA, which is also known as the "molecule of love." This drink is the perfect beverage to serve with a piece of raw chocolate to the object of your desire on Valentine's Day—or any other day of the year!

Ingredients (serves 2-4)

  • 4 cups strawberries, whole, preferably semi-thawed

  • 2 bananas, ripe

  • 2 Tbsp maca

  • 2 cups Brazil nut milk*

  • 1 Tbsp agave nectar

Directions
Blend all the ingredients until smooth. You can also use fresh strawberries and frozen bananas instead.

* To make 2 cups of Brazil nut milk, blend 2/3 cup Brazil nuts in 2 cups of water with 2 T agave nectar or other sweetener. Strain through a nut-milk bag.
