Sierra Club: "Urge your Senators to oppose the so-called "Preserve the Waters of the United States Act." This bill does nothing to protect waters as the name implies, but is a giveaway to developers and polluters who are trying to reverse long-established protections for our streams and wetlands, endangering all of our communities and threatening the safety of our drinking water. This dirty water bill would prevent the Obama administration from completing a policy on the scope of the Clean Water Act which would help end years of confusion stemming from misguided Bush administration actions and court decisions." >>>Take Action |
