'Vitamin-C-Blast Green Smoothie' Recipe E-mail

Strawberry and Orange photo by Vishweshwar SaranThis delicious and tangy smoothie is sure to give you the energy you need to start your day—no matter how exhausting your planned activities! It's chock full of vitamin C and it contains other important vitamins. As a bonus, you'll receive loads of minerals from the greens. No question, you'll be getting off on the right foot! Makes 4 cups.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 3/4 cup orange juice

  • 1 1/2 cup strawberries

  • 1 cup cherries

  • 1 banana

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

  • 3 cups leafy greens, such as spinach

Directions
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour into two 16-ounce glasses and enjoy.
